Television! Teacher, Mother, Secret Lover

When will I learn? The answers to life's problems aren't at the bottom of a bottle, they're on TV! ~Homer Simpson

There's a lot of stuff in this world that I know nothing about. TV is not one of those things. Here's my list of recommendations, including shows that are no longer on air but available on DVD or Netflix.
  1. The Simpsons
  2. South Park
  3. The Big Bang Theory
  4. Community
  5. Parks and Rec
  6. 30 Rock
  7. Hoarders
  8. Psych
  9. CSI
  10. The IT Crowd
  11. Law and Order: SVU
  12. Bones
  13. Supernatural
  14. Longmire
Catch these classics on DVD, Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, etc.:
  1. Friends
  2. Seinfeld
  3. Scrubs
  4. Gilmore Girls
  5. Arrested Development
  6. Boy Meets World (finally released on DVD)
  7. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
  8. Daria
  9. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (as much as I enjoyed reading Twilight, this will always be the quintessential source of all things vampire for me; it's brilliant)
  10. Sex and the City (don't let the movies fool you, the show was actually good)
  11. Better Off Ted (this show was hilarious, naturally it only  lasted 2 seasons and the second season is only available on Netflix)
  12. Pushing Daisies (the costumes, set and cinematography (sp?) alone make this show interesting)
  13. Twin Peaks (I know Amy Jo and I are about 20 years late in watching the Lost of the 1980s. Our plan is to watch Lost in another 20 years)
  14. Jersey Shore (don't judge me)
  15. Glee (I enjoyed season one of Glee, but after that it got more and more's almost insulting)
  16. House
  17. House of Cards
  18. Burn Notice
